Deja Vu
Ten years ago, my wife Cindy and I attended a re-consecration ceremony at the Jewish Cemetery here in Springfield. It had been maliciously damaged by vandals, who tipped over gravestones, broke many of the stones, and spray-painted obscenities and symbols around the walls of the cemetery.
Last evening, I visited the Islamic Center of Springfield. Their worship facility had been vandalized by people spray-painting obscenities on three of the four walls of the Center and their entrance sign.
